Ben Lockwood
Get to know Ben Lockwood, our Engineering Intern. Ben is on his second summer working at Fullerton and is a Computer Engineering major at Michigan Technological University. Ben is from Hemlock, Michigan. His favorite thing about college is getting out and experiencing different things. He looks forward to working with employees from all the different departments during his time here at Fullerton. His dream job post-graduation is to find a company where he gets along with most people and where he will look forward to coming to work every single day.
Q&A with Ben
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon.
What do you consider to be the best invention of all time?
I would have to say the telephone, without it many things today would not be nearly as easy as they are.
What's the weirdest job you've ever had?
I used to wash buckets at a blueberry patch for 5 hours a day.
What's your hidden talent?
I would consider myself ok at playing guitar.
What is your biggest achievement to date - personal or professional?
Being asked to give a speech to represent all SME Prime programs for the state.
What is your favorite line from a movie or book?
"Kachow!" - from Cars
What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Fishing or mountain biking.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
Last Friday Night or Party in the USA
