Tell us your origin story. How did your company come to be, and what inspired it?
Expertech Technologies Inc. was founded in January 2011 by Peter Seessle after six years at a large Canadian wholesaler and a previous venture running his own importing business. Motivated by conversations with two respected friends—Ron Allen, a fellow rep in the industry, and Larry Pevato, a highly successful businessman—Peter was inspired to strike again and return to business ownership. That decision led to the launch of Expertech, which has grown into a thriving rep agency serving the Canadian market.
Before that, Peter owned and operated MS Tool Supplies, a family-run business focused on machine tool accessories. That early experience laid the groundwork for Expertech’s hands-on approach and deep understanding of Canada’s machining landscape.
What's the superpower of your team? What unique skills or qualities make your team stand out?
Coverage, experience, and relationships. Expertech represents vendors throughout every region of Canada, working closely with a wide network of machine tool dealers and industrial distributors. Backed by years of industry knowledge, a best-in-class marketing team, and a strong product portfolio, their insight into Canada's evolving manufacturing sectors is second to none.
And they don't just know the products - they understand the markets that use them.
What Fullerton tool would you say is your team's favorite and why?
Hands down, the V-Mac solid carbide end mill. Designed for aggressive cuts in high-temp alloys, stainless steels, and Inconels, the V-Mac offers unmatched performance thanks to staggered flute geometry, enhanced variable flute design, FC-21 coating to resist fatigue and micro-chipping, and a solid core and wide variety of specs.

Looking to the future, what exciting things should we expect from your team?
Expertech is keeping an eye on Canada's shifting economy - and positioning for growth. That means: increased local inventory, new distribution partnerships in key areas, expanded product lines from Fullerton, and a greater presence at trade shows and events.
