Ceci Mast

Get to know Ceci Mast, our Raw Materials Clerk. Ceci has worked at Fullerton for 6 years and is responsible for keeping an accurate inventory, incoming inspection with knowledge of basic gauges, allocating material to work orders, providing replacement materials, and maintaining a historical record of all supporting documentation for each material and material transaction. Their goal in Raw Material is to reduce scrap, smooth the current of downstream operations, and bridge the gap between our customers' ideas and their physical results. Ceci's favorite part of Fullerton is the culture, she believes that we try our best to rally around our team members during their worst moments and congratulate them on their triumphs.

Ceci has a daughter, Hunter (Hunny). Ceci and Hunny are moving into their first apartment in June and they are so excited! Hunny is 3 going on 13 and is very precocious. Her favorite colors when asked are pink, purple, and sparkles. They have a big ole' tom cat named Percy who loves nothing more than to be loved and to scream when he isn't the center of attention. They are anxiously awaiting a Keeshond puppy and are on the breeder's list for 2024. Ceci's hobbies include music and various artistic pursuits. She is a Suzuki-trained violinist and plays bass guitar. She played three different clarinets in high school and dabbled with both piano and guitar. Most of her performances now are at church. Her favorite music genre is folk music, encompassing anything from bluegrass to more Celtic tunes.

Q&A with Ceci

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?Ceci-Mast
Interestingly, as a child, I had a whole timeline of jobs I wanted to hold. I wanted my first job to be a Subway Sandwich Artist. I then wanted to apprentice through college at a veterinary office. My end goal was to become a large animal or equine veterinarian.

What do you consider to be the best invention of all time?
Soap, definitely soap.

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?
Katherine Heigl.

What's the weirdest job you've ever had?
When I was in elementary school, my dad made me clean his financial advisor's office weekly. I think it is only weird because it was pretty much child labor. BUT I got to go to Disney World every year with the pittance of money I made, so...

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My favorite meal is grilled cheese sandwiches. They are so versatile that I would be happy to only eat variations on that theme consistently.

What skill would you like to master?
I would really like to pick up the Irish tin whistle. I would also really like to learn how to play the fiddle rather than the classical violin.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
I would buy a Toyota Tundra SR5 with TRD Offroad package in Lunar Rock. Then I would buy a horse trailer. Then I would rescue a big old draft horse from the auction and gain its trust with apples.

What's the most played song on your phone?
I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness.

What are your top three life highlights?
- January 2010 - I bought my first car, a little red Ford Ranger.
- December 2014 - Graduated from Delta College with two Associates Degrees.
- February 2020 - Made it through a flight with one layover from Tampa to Detroit with a 3-month-old alone.

What is the one thing about you that would surprise people?
I detest Jell-O.

If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see and why?
I would like to see the time span from when King Tutankhamun had his last year of power through his death and burial. Science has only been able to theorize on his cause of death and ownership of his burial goods prior to death.

What's your hidden talent?
I have the uncanny ability to find coins and money on the ground.

What is your guilty pleasure?
I really enjoy dry documentaries, medical podcasts, or other superfluous learning opportunities.

What is your go-to karaoke song?
Can You Run by the Steel Drivers

What is your least favorite food? Why?
Cabbage and chicken broth-based soups because they taste gross.

What is your biggest achievement to date - personal or professional?
Getting my first apartment lined up.

What is your favorite line from a movie or book?
"I'm surrounded by idiots," Scar - The Lion King

If you could be any animal, what would you be? Why?
Such a hard choice...I think I would be a Przewalski's horse. They have a moderately long life span and are protected animals. Because they are undomesticated, they have limited contact with humans. I also enjoy limited contact with humans.

What Disney character do you relate to the most? Why?
I used to think that I was Belle but now I know I am just Izma from the Emperor's New Groove.

What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Motorcycling. There is just something about the combination of danger and stupidity that really makes me feel free.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I would live on the family farm in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. It was sold in 2005 but holds so many great memories.

Would you rather go back in time or in the future? Why?
I would go back in time. The past holds far more mysteries than the future does.
