R&D Lab Update - November 2021

Fullerton's R&D Lab has been pushing full speed ahead this year. Check out our update below to find out everything that is happening.

2021-RD-Lab-Update

Currently, we are testing two new series in the Lab that we are hoping to launch in 2022. In addition, we have developed and tested a new end mill specifically made for Inconel and to be used in the Aerospace industry. This end mill will be offered in 5-flutes with an FC14 coating - more information will be coming in the future with our soon-to-be-launched end mill. We also have fully approved the material and coating for the Micro-Fury end mill. The Micro-Fury has proven geometries from our highly successful 3500 series, excelling in sub-miniature Aerospace and Medical applications. This sub-miniature end mill will be launching in early 2021, so keep an eye out for that.

In addition to developing new series, we are also working on improving our current products to ensure that they continuously perform. This means testing out different carbide grades as well as different coatings.

While conducting in-house testing, we have also been utilizing our R&D Lab for our Fast 2.0 and Fast 3.0 trainings. Our FAST Academy is a 3-part training program where we educate customers all about our products, high-efficiency machining, deep hole drilling, tool holders, troubleshooting, and more. You can find out more about our FAST Academy at https://landing.fullertontool.com/fast-academy.

Like before, Fullerton's R&D Lab is fully committed to supporting our customers' needs in providing solutions to your needs. You can submit projects by emailing us at dfunchion@fullertontool.com
